Just so you know,I have always loved the blues.
I got turned on to the Allman Bros Band by some guitar player friends early on.
Being the clever kid i was,i looked into who wrote all those great songs on the "Fillmore East"album.
and got hooked on the blues,still a form i adore playing.
So enjoy some of this guy,it swings !
this post is particularly for a local jazz player,
here's to you archie,thanks for getting me high at Allan Gregory's music store,and for all your freindship since.

Grand Funk "red" album

When i was a young lad just learning to play the guitar,we could only scare up 3 guys brave enough to play in a rock band.
We did just about all of the songs on this record.
Sometimes at high school dances ,but mostly in the basement !
Anyways ,This LP has always been a favorite.

This is one of the first albums i ever got.
I was 10,and it got stolen about 10 years later when my apartment was robbed.
A BIG thanks to the LEGENDARY jimE knight(of "LOST DISCS RADIO SHOW"fame,i have it again.
